If so, join BOB ("Best of Biotech - get your business started"), the international life science business plan competition, organized in 2010 for the fifth time by Austria Wirtschaftsservice. Assisted by the BOB team, translate your life science idea into a sound business concept and a professional business plan.

Schedule
Phase 1: February-April 2010, Selection of the 3 best business ideas. The three winners are Dr. Kubin (AMBERwest), Dr. Noe (Profem) and Dr. Sams-Dodd (Sorbus). Details and photos from the award ceremony here.
Phase 2: May-October 2010, Selection of the 3 best life science business plans and the best medical technology business plan. Registration for phase 2 is open until July 31st 2010. Also teams that have not participated in phase 1 are invited to contest in phase 2.
Deadline for phase 2 submission: August 06, 2010
For phase 2 of the competition review the schedule and the rules of the contest, and think about how to translate your business idea into a professional business plan. Use the business plan handbook as a reference to set up your business plan. Even if you have not participated in phase 1 of the competition you can register for phase 2 until July 31st 2010. Submit your business plan and your jury presentation online to contest in phase 2 of the competition.
15-16 September, 2010 -
Coaching Session
(for 10 best teams only)
The best 10 teams of phase 2 will be preselected in early September and invited to an intensive BOB coaching session, receiving individual support for their business plans and jury presentation. The 10 teams have then the chance to resubmit their reworked documents by 04 October 2010.
20-21 October, 2010 -
Jury session and
final award ceremony
The best 10 teams present to an international jury which selects the best 3 teams as well as the winner of the LISAvr Medtech Award. The jury session is organized on October 20-21. The award ceremony takes place in the URANIA building in Vienna on October 21, 18H.
